German Federal Railroad (DB) control car, 2nd class, for so-called light express trains (LS). Type BDylf 457 with luggage compartment without side aisle. Also known colloquially as a “middle entry car”. Version with small tail lights on the front and one-piece windows at the entrances at the end of the car. Color scheme in ocean blue/ivory. Home station Hagen Hbf. Operating condition 1984. Epoch IV

 

Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder. The triple headlights and two red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, conventionally on, and can be controlled digitally. Standard built-in LED interior lighting that can be controlled digitally. Driver’s cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Current-carrying clutch can be controlled digitally. Type-specific designed underbody. Red, transparent marker light inserts at the end of the car without a driver’s cab. Heavy-duty Minden-Deutz design bogies with double block brakes. The bogie at the end of the cab has with rail clearance equipment, a “SIFA” (Deadman’s switch), inductive magnets and a D62 generator D 62. A toilet downpipe and a push-pull train control line are included as separately attachable parts for presentation in a showcase.
