Electric locomotive ET22, of the Polish State Railway (PKP). Epoch IV
The highlights of the PIKO ET22 include the finest paintwork and printing, filigree pantographs, precisely implemented lamp areas, digitally switchable driver’s cab lighting and front and rear lights that function depending on the direction of travel. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The model, which has a zinc die-cast frame, has a five-pole motor with flywheel masses for excellent driving characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inner axles of both bogies. The simple retrofitting of sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is of course prepared on the tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface. Attachable brake hose dummies are included with the ET22 model.
