The PIKO ET22 has as highlights the finest paint scheme and printing, filigree pantographs, precisely implemented lamp areas, digitally switchable cab lighting, and front and rear lights that function depending on the direction of travel. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The model, which has a die-cast zinc frame, has a five-pole motor with flywheel masses for excellent driving characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The simple retrofitting of sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is of course prepared on the tidily designed circuit board with PluX22 interface. Attachable dummy brake hoses are included with the ET22 model.
