N 5-Pack 48′ Husky-Stack Well Cars, BNSF (Weathered, red, BN Logo, Graffiti)

In early 1991, Burlington Northern received an order of 16 single Husky-Stack cars from Gunderson, accommodating containers up to 48’ in the lower well position. These were rolled into the BNSF fleet a few years later after the 1995 merger. The Husky-Stack® well car was first introduced in 1990 at the Inter-national Intermodal Expo in Atlanta, GA.
