The PIKO model of the SP45 universal locomotive reproduces all the proportions of the prototype very well. The exact paint scheme and precise lettering are authentically based on the prototype. The model has free-standing grab irons. Sharply engraved bogies show all the details of the original, such as spring elements and axle bearing covers. The PIKO motor with two large flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics and great tractive power. The model is equipped ex works with a matching PSD XP sound decoder including a large loudspeaker.
