For the first time, the beautifully shaped Škoda 47E “Laminátka” machines appear as an operational large-scale production model in H0 scale. The gracefulness of the machine has been excellently transferred to the 1:87 scale and an absolutely coherent overall picture has been created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, have been elegantly implemented and the strongly structuring lines of the locomotive body visualized by sharp engravings. Precisely reproduced technical elements, such as the bogies, complete the successful design of the model. The colorful livery of the prototype, including dynamic trim elements, also suits the locomotive in 1:87 perfectly thanks to the elaborate painting and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor whose smooth running is perfected by two flywheel masses. Lighting in red and white that changes with the direction of travel is, of course, present and designed in contemporary LED technology. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with matching vehicle sound is installed ex works.
